TWO YEAR HEALTH GUARANTEE
The Following agreement is between Stoneybrookgoldendoodles hearafter referred to as seller, and buyer.
Buyer shall indemnify and hold Seller harmless from injury to anyone or damage to any property which may be caused directly or indirectly by the dog.
Health GuaranteeThis dog is guaranteed to be in good health and sound temperament at the time of purchase. Buyer shall have the dog examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of the time of purchase.
If the veterinarian finds the dog to be unhealthy, it is to be returned to the Seller with documentation from above mentioned licensed veterinarian stating evident health issues immediately for an 80% refund. (deducting initial deposit.)
Buyer is strongly advised NOT to take the dog to public places or where vaccinated dogs are present (e.g., dog parks, pet stores, labeled "Pet Exercise Area") until fully vaccinated or at the recommendation of Buyers veterinarian.
Seller further guarantees the dog to the age of 24 months to be free of the following genetic defects:Hip Dysplasia that significantly compromises the dogs life as a companion dog. Buyer must provide Seller with proof of hip dysplasia in the form of documentation from OFA (the dog must have a rating of moderate to severe to be considered compromised) on or before 24 months of age.
Buyer must also be willing to release x-rays from their vet to our vet for analysis.Congenital defect of the eye causing blindness in both eyes and/or requiring surgery as diagnosed by a veterinary ophthalmologist on or before 24 months of age.
Blood thyroid levelsDiagnosed by thyroid testing through blood work, by a veterinarian, which require ongoing medication on or before 24 months of age.While Seller has made every effort to prevent these diseases from developing in the dog, no one can guarantee that they won't.
If Seller's licensed veterinarian disagrees that the dog suffers from a genetic defect, the parties shall agree on a neutral third veterinarian, who's decision shall be binding.
In the unfortunate event that the dog develops any of the afore mentioned defects, and upon receipt of written proof of diagnosis by a licensed veterinarian, as described above, Buyer shall be untitled to a full refund of the purchase price of the dog with the exception of the $300.00. nonrefundable deposit.
While Seller has made every effort to prevent these diseases from developing in the dog, no one can guarantee that they won't.
If Seller's licensed veterinarian disagrees that the dog suffers from a genetic defect, the parties shall agree on a neutral third veterinarian, who's decision shall be binding. The Following Conditions applySeller reserves the right to have the dog examined by a veterinarian of Seller's choice to confirm diagnosis, at Sellers expense.
If seller's licensed veterinarian disagrees that the dog suffers from genetic defect, the parties shall agree on a neutral third veterinarian, whose decision shall be binding.
The hip dysplasia guarantee shall be null and void if the dog is determined to have suffered serious injury or neglect; has been 20% or more overweight; or exposed to intense exercise (e.g., jogging, agility training) before the age of 18 months.
Buyer must show proof from a veterinarian that the said dog is clear of Lyme disease, by heart worm testing, and has had regular up to date Lyme shots from the age of 12 weeks old, or this guarantee is null and void.
This is due to the fact that Lyme disease can cause irreversible structural damage, joint damage and organ damage to your dog.
All testing and examinations are the responsibility of the Buyer.
In any case, Seller's liability will never exceed the purchase price of the dog, for any reason whatsoever.
This health guarantee is granted to the Original Buyer Only, and not transferable to anyone else.
Buyer's Agreement:Buyers agree to maintain this dog in good health and provide routine preventative health care including but not limited to, inoculations, internal and external parasite elimination, and preventative medication.Provide obedience training(at least one Puppy Class. Buyer will provide a safe living environment and a healthy diet.
Veterinarian records must be provided to Seller if requesting a refund.
If any of the above preventative care has not been provided, this health guarantee will be void.
The Buyer agrees to not breed this dog for ANY REASON.
Buyers will spay or neuter their dog before the age of one year.
Buyer must show proof of a spay/neuter certificate, with a letterhead from a licensed Veterinarian before the said dogs birthdate of one years old, in order to full fill their end of the contract.
This contract will be null and void if owner cannot provide proof of spay/neuter from licensed Veterinarian.
Buyers agrees not to resell or otherwise dispose of the dog without first offering the dog back to the Seller.
Seller agrees to assist Buyer in finding an Appropriate home for the dog.
Full and Final Agreement:Buyer and Seller agree that this contract represents the entire agreement between them and that no other representations have been made regarding the dog described above.
